Veterans Outreach Ministry
As the church, our mission is to help those that are in need. At Athens Baptist, we seek to serve those who served us first. We do this by donating cleaning kits, gift cards, and other miscellaneous items to veterans in long term care at the Beckley VAMC and their homeless veterans program.

ASK (After School Kids) Program
To help out families in our community, Athens Baptist also coordinates an after-school tutoring program for the students of Athens Elementary School. We, with the help of students from Concord University, provide homework and classwork assistance. Students are also sent home with a snack each day.
